But what specific added value does this bring?

After simple integration by scanning the QR code on the module, the portal's full web interface is available to you. This gives you access to a wide range of administration and configuration options. These enable you to offer your customers a much more comprehensive and faster service. At the same time, you benefit from more efficient, centralised processes that make your daily work noticeably easier and faster.

 

Whether remote maintenance, configuration or analysis - with the IoT portal, your barrier becomes a smart system component.

Barrier control on a new level

    Whether opening and closing speed, vehicle counter or manual control of the barrier: thanks to the portal's clearly structured interface, all setting options are clearly displayed and can be operated intuitively. Adjustments can be made in no time at all - even directly via your smartphone.

     

     

    You can also set up automated processes using defined events. For example, you can specify that a RED traffic light is automatically switched via a multi-relay when a certain vehicle counter level is reached. This creates a logic-based, intelligent operating sequence - without any manual intervention.

     

    The integrated configuration archive, in which previous configuration states can be saved and displayed alongside the current settings if required, is equally well thought-out. For a direct comparison - if problems arise, possible causes can be quickly identified.

Assign barriers specifically to individual technicians who can reliably keep an eye on operations and upcoming maintenance. In the event of an alarm, the technician responsible is automatically informed via push notification - even before the customer contacts you. This means you are in the picture at an early stage and your technician can start analysing the cause immediately - for trouble-free service and satisfied customers in the long term.

 

Grant your customers specific read or write authorisations and give them a transparent insight into the portal. This will strengthen trust, improve cooperation and permanently raise your service quality to a new level.

Define individual maintenance intervals for each barrier and receive automatic reminders. Document maintenance work in the digital inspection logbook and add photos if required. Now you can use the guided fault analysis in the portal to find out the cause of the alarm. Has the tree been driven off? Go straight to the right spare parts in the ELKA webshop - for a quick and targeted solution to the problem.

 

Would you like support in analysing the fault? No problem. Simply generate a remote maintenance code in the portal and use it to temporarily authorise the barrier for remote access by our service team. This gives you targeted help - quickly, securely and directly.

The portal's user interface has a clear and concise design - for intuitive operation without the need for lengthy familiarisation.

 

Important information such as alarms or upcoming maintenance is displayed directly on the start page so that you always have an overview and can react quickly.

 

For even better organisation, your barriers can be conveniently sorted by location.
You can also keep an eye on your service contracts and the terms of your licences at all times - and ensure that you can act in good time if necessary.

Network connection

In order for the barrier to communicate with the IoT portal, it must be integrated into a network.

 

The following options are available for this:

LAN: stable, wired connection

WLAN: Flexible, wireless connection

LTE: For more remote locations

Easy installation

Now you're ready to go - your barrier is going digital.


You have logged in to the portal and we have activated your access. To connect to the EJOIN IoT portal, simply plug the compact TCP-IP module into the barrier controller and establish a network connection. In the portal, you can now click on the + in the Devices section and start connecting your barrier. We will support you in the process with illustrated instructions.

The IoT portal module can be easily attached to any barrier with the MO24 motor control unit.

The QR code is applied to the observer side of the module.

You can access the portal by manually activating your access data from the partner area of our webshop. That's it! No further network configuration necessary.
